There was a time in my life that getting married was what mattered most. I put my life on hold, searching for love and attention. I wasn’t living, I was just existing for a very long time.
As I journeyed through life, I started discovering other things to do with my life. I got more intimate with God and I discovered there is so much more that a single lady, no matter how old, can do with her life.
I began to look for people around me that I could help. I was looking for ladies who were lonely and depressed. I was doing my thing counseling and as time went by, I forgot about my issues.
I was inspired to start a ministry called, ‘While Waiting’ for mature singles. I got married at 35 and I thank God I didn’t do so when I was pressuring myself. I would have choked my husband, lol.
There’s so much you can do and achieve with your life as a single. Life is beautiful with God and there is no loss. The truth is, the waiting period is God’s strategy to bless you.
