When I gave birth, my mother took my baby away. Two weeks after his birth, she sent me to the village to live with her brother. I didn’t even breastfeed the baby.
I started my art career in 1973. After secondary school, I started out as a studio practice artist under my Aunt’s husband, a wonderful artist – Yinka Adeyemi.
